Introduction / Meet Jacque (Jackie)
Hi, I’m Jacque King — the heart and hands behind The Wrapped Parcel.
I started this shop because gifts should feel like someone truly listened — like they remembered what you said you loved, noticed what brought you joy, or discovered something you didn’t even know you wanted. Thoughtful, warm, and personal, each parcel is meant to show your recipient that they are seen, celebrated, and genuinely cared for.
Where It All Began
I’ve always been a gift-giver at heart. Long before I launched The Wrapped Parcel, I spent countless hours wandering shops, searching for something that felt right — not just impressive, but meaningful. Something that said, “I thought about you.”
What I kept finding instead were gifts that were over-packaged, over-priced, and under-considered. Shiny boxes full of things nobody really needed. I wanted something simpler. Something that felt personal, thoughtful, and intentional. That’s when the idea for The Wrapped Parcel took shape.
How We Got the Name
Our name comes from a timeless image — a simple parcel tied with string. (A parcel is simply a package, wrapped or bundled, often in brown paper, tied with a string or bow, and addressed to someone special for mailing.) It represents thoughtfulness, care, and the joy of giving. Every product I bring into this shop is chosen with that same spirit: purposeful, heartfelt, and genuinely useful.
